BLUES BROTHERS TRIBUTE BAND AT LIONS CLUB CALCUTTA FUNDRAISER

A Blues Brothers tribute band will provide entertainment at the Wauconda Lions Club’s Calcutta fundraiser on Saturday, November 6.  The event will be held at the Mill Creek Banquet Hall in Wauconda.  Cocktails will be served at 6:00 p.m., and dinner at 7:00 p.m.  The raffle will begin at 8:15 p.m.      

     The buffet dinner will include shrimp appetizers, fresh turkey, ham on the bone, prime rib, homemade mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, and a vegetable medley.  Two complimentary bottles of wine will be available at every table.  Deserts will be provided by Honey Hill Coffee Company.

     The ticket price of $125 includes dinner for two, and a chance at the $5,000 raffle.  Proceeds will be used to advance the Wauconda Lions Club’s charitable causes, including assistance for the vision and hearing impaired, support for the township food pantry and local youth programs, scholarships for local high school graduates, and financial aid for medical missions and disaster relief throughout the world.  For further information please contact Glenn Swanson at 847-533-6975.
